Henry Arjad, CEO of CPT Group, Inc. (CPT), embodies the quintessential American success story. As an immigrant driven by the pursuit of the American dream, Henry's journey is marked by perseverance, innovation, and a deep sense of patriotism.
Henry's entrepreneurial spirit first emerged in 1976 when he established the inaugural computer store in Orange County, California, catering to the burgeoning market of computer enthusiasts and hobbyists. His venture swiftly evolved, encompassing manufacturing, exporting, importing, wholesaling, programming, and repair within the computer industry.
In 1984, Henry's trajectory took a pivotal turn when he was approached by a Chapter 7 trustee to automate the bookkeeping and management of bank accounts for bankruptcy cases. Rising to the challenge, Henry developed pioneering software tailored to streamline trustee operations. This endeavor propelled CPT into the realm of Bankruptcy Administration, where it handled high-profile cases, including those of notable entities such as the County of Orange, Edwards Theatres, Phil & Jims, Clothestime, Glen Ivy Resorts, Home Fed Corporation, Marriott Hotels, and Del Taco.
In the 1990s, Henry hit another milestone as he sold his bankruptcy book of business to Epiq. This allowed him to shift his strategy towards Class Action Administration. Leveraging the parallels between bankruptcy and class action processing, CPT seamlessly transitioned into this domain, cementing its status as a leader in the field.
Under Henry's astute leadership, CPT has experienced exponential growth. Today, CPT stands as a beacon of excellence in Class Action notice and settlement administration services, offering comprehensive solutions for developing, managing, and executing all stages of integrated notice plans and settlements.
Henry's unwavering commitment to excellence, coupled with his profound appreciation for the opportunities afforded by his adopted homeland, is reflected in CPT's ethos. From its inception, Henry imbued CPT with a patriotic spirit, evident in the company's emblem, serving as a testament to his enduring gratitude to the United States and its veterans.
As CEO, Henry Arjad continues to steer CPT towards new horizons, embodying the values of ingenuity, integrity, and inclusivity that define both the company and its visionary leader.
Outside the office, you can find Henry in the sky. As a licensed pilot and a former skilled aerobatic pilot, Henry would execute precise maneuvers in a high-performance aircraft with a team of five. These days, you’re more likely to see him flying his 1941 Piper J-3 Cub, a light aircraft primarily designed for recreational flying; however, when he needs a more exhilarating experience, he’ll fly his Lancair Legacy. On land, Henry drives a one-of-a-kind Shelby GT500 convertible.
Henry holds an MBA from California State University of Fullerton.
