Sondra Monroe has over 28 years of experience at the intersection of legal services and financial industries, where she has built a distinguished career helping clients navigate some of the most complex litigation matters in the country. Her expertise spans class action and mass tort administration, Qualified Settlement Funds, escrow and fiduciary services, corporate trust, asset management, and distribution services.
Known for her consultative approach, Sondra takes the time to understand the unique dynamics of each case and the specific administrative needs it requires. She has a rare ability to bridge deep legal industry knowledge with sophisticated financial services expertise, making her a trusted partner for law firms navigating settlements. Her nationwide network of relationships, built over nearly three decades, reflects the confidence and loyalty she has earned from the clients she’s served.
Before joining CPT Group, Sondra held senior business development and advisory roles in which she managed national law firm partnerships and helped build and scale claims administration, escrow, and legal services businesses from the ground up.
Sondra holds a Juris Doctor from Charlotte School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Southern Mississippi. She has also earned Advanced and Foundational Certificates in Mass Tort Multidistrict Litigation from the Bolch Judicial Institute at Duke University School of Law and previously held FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses along with Insurance Producer Licenses in North Carolina.
Outside the office, Sondra is a Public Justice Ambassador and Women Owned Law Advisory Board Member, an enthusiastic Wake Forest football fan and enjoys golf, playing piano, and spending quality time with her family.
